Veterans Day Nov 11th at Applebee's

This is a plug for all Veterans.

The Applebee chain of restaurants is providing a free meal to all Veterans on November 11th.

Proof of service can be:

The special menu is listed on their website if interested. Enjoy and thanks for your service. I'm already in line!!!

Sounds good to me, I plan on taking advantage of their Oriental chicken salad, my favorite.

Don't know about everywhere but they are offering six specific meals from the menu for this event for the vet or actives-- at least here they are. It's still a great gesture for them to give all those meals away and it is truly appreciated. I have to MC our Veteran's Day Program we hold each year through my home American Legion Post. We hold it at the public school gymnasium and the whole grade school, Jr High and High School attends along with the complete faculty and any hometown folks that would like to attend. We started a tradition last year by handing out small American flags to each one present and it went over great. The high school kids even put them on their backpacks or in their shirt pockets which really surprised me. Anyway, back to the subject of Applebee's-- it is great to see a company respect the efforts of the men and women in the Service of their Country and those that were at one time! THANKS APPLEBEES!!!
