Wayne, I'm married to her. It was an accident. She posted a thread about it after she dropped my laptop with the case open, shattering the display.

John, mine don't totally lock up with the controller, either. But pulling the emergency brake locks them solid. I did that accidentally once pulling into a pullthrough site when the emergency brake cord caught on something and tripped the brake. Our rig was hanging out in the access road and the V10 Ford couldn't budget that trailer in either direction. Eventually we figured out what happened.

On my 06, lock up with the factory controller, no problem on dry pavement. Sounds like you need the TSB referred to above.
Not sure if this link has them all, but for my 06 F350 it has been accurate.

Tim

I tried this on our 3499RL and could not lock up. Took montana into dealer to find my brakers were not working as they were never adjusted, 15 plus clicks for adjustment.

This is a bit off topic but it's a seque off 05WAF350's post. When talking with the axle guy who I scheduled to replace our axles, he told me Dexter is coming out very soon with 7k axles with self-adjusting brakes. I got the impression it's not an option, that's the way it'll be. I'm not sure about the 6k axles. So I'll keep in touch with him and try to make sure we get those self-adjusters. And I'd assume future Montanas will have them, as well. He felt they'll be coming out some time in July. Our appt is July 28.
