I am soooooooooooooo jealous. I retired a month ago and am now waiting for the DW and the house to sell. House is the big thing.
So far retirement has not been good. I have been out for 5 weeks and sick 3 of those. Caught flu then threw out the back. Back won't heal because of cough.....BUT the first couple weeks were great and am looking forward to more of that soon.
DW retires the end of this month and when we get everything packed and squared away we are off on short trips to explore Florida while we wait for the house to sell. Hopefully we will make a rally this year. I look forward to meeting some of the friendly inventive helpful people I have met on this forum...
Congratulations again. After you get used to the idea of not having to go back to work you are going to have an absolute blast... Enjoy
