Windows won't open.

After 2.5 years living in Monty all over American, several of our sliding windows won't open. I tried working around them with a putty knife, almost tried beating them with a hammer, but thought better of it. Is there a lubricant or something to put on the felt sealer to unstick it, or ?

Try silicone spray. That is what I use on a regular basis.

It is a bit late for you, but for new RVers, it is good to lubricate, open and close your windows somewhat regularly to prevent them from "hairing over", meaning freeze up. They get dust and grime in the slide slots.

Same here, not WD 40.

We had a saying in the Army, if it's supposed to move and doesn't use WD-40, and if it moves and is not supposed to use army green tape (aka duct tape). I keep an ample supply of both in the Montana, as well as Bud Light.

I agree with old G.I. just replaced WD-40 with silicon spray, and Bud light with Guinness
