One of those happenings

I happened to be in Kansas City getting some repairs to my Big Sky. That last blow out did $3000 worth of damage. Well, I wandered into the showroom and who did I meet? Keith Frazee, the salesman from Naylor (now Lifestyle RVS) who was at the Branson rally.

He tackled me, beat me up, and kidnapped me until I agreed to trade for a 2008 Big Sky 340RLQ. MY WIFE WAS ON HIS SIDE!! Bruised and battered I grudgingly took delivery just in time to come to the Fall Rally in Goshen.

Hecky darn, wouldn't you know, the color of new Ford F350 just happens to complement the colors in the Big Sky decals. I have already gotten better meals from the island kitchen than from the old one. After the initial trauma of moving from one unit to the other, we are feeling comfortably right at home in the new Monty.

Good job, bud. Congrat's.

(I ended up with Stiles' Mor-Ryde hitch off the new Big Sky)

Congrats. Stiles: Couldn't hold out for Keystone to bring back the 3670RL or do you know something that I don't. I guess I will have to wait it out alone.

Bill,

Actually, it was the island kitchen and double wide refrigerator that captured Dianna's fancy. The three step rise to and level floor in the bed/bath area is also desirable over the choppy flooring of the 2003.

I will miss the sliding door between bedroom and bath and could have done nicely with a queen sized bed. I will also miss the distinctive flare of the gold paint job like yours has. Some pluses over the 2003 are the central vac, power rear stabilizer legs, and power awning.

The general decor is seen by Dianna (her domain) as more pleasing to the eye. The dining table is cantilevered out of the wall, so it has no legs or pedestal to encumber seating. Recessed 12-volt lighting is more aesthetic than the traditional two bulb RV ceiling lights. Keystone has made some finish improvements between the two units.

Sorry to abandon you in your quest.

Stiles, best of luck after that dastardly beating you took. We hope you recover quickly, since it sounds like you're on the right road now.
Congratulations.

Congratulations, Stiles! We love the 3400 but do wish we had the double refrigerator. I'm one of those who likes to buy meat on sale and then vacuum seal it. Ours is just not big enough...

Congratulations Stiles! I think I caught a hint of the new Big Sky in another thread by Ozz

Seems every floor plan has some give and take over the other. I think you will really enjoy that new 340. We have had 3 parties in our 3400, and to us that island was much more of a benefit than a hindrance. It became the food and drink serving line once because of bad weather outside and worked out ideal. In fact, that was Mothers day as shown in our sig pic.

hahahaha - Ozz, I think it was actually Stiles that made the comment in your thread. Somehow I already knew that behind that new Ford there was a new Big Sky coming - even though he swore it wouldn't happen - hahahaha.

I believe you kept the beans secure
