Grey tank leaking

My grey tank Is not holding water when the valve is closed. With the valve closed, I can run water inside from the sink and see the water flowing out of the outside drain through my clear peep elbow on the drain line. Do I need a new grey valve or is there a way to repair it?

You probably have something in the valve keeping it slightly open. At the very least, the valve will have to be taken apart to remove whatever is keeping it open. At least it's the grey valve and not the black valve. You can get a twist on valve you can install where you connect the drain hose, until you are able to make repairs.

Not necessarily the valve but the valve gasket. Depending on the unit easy or a real pain to replace. And both the valve assembly and gasket may be fine and there is simply something, toilet paper etc, preventing the valve from closing completely. If aggressive flushing does not resolve, you may have to drop the underbelly to inspect.

Hi Dave you know I got a 3735 MK as well and my pull handle unthreaded and fell into the underbelly on the galley Tank (and I assume that is the grey you are talking about) and I was thinking of dropping the underbelly and reattaching it but it looked like a pain in the Buns with the spare tire etc.. but I was able to cut a slit in the underbelly material peel it back and reattach the handle and tape it back up BUT to get to and tear apart the leaking valve which is no big deal in it itself you will have to take off the spare tire ,cross member and then peel back the back half of the underbelly, for sure more of a hassle than the Main Grey Tank which is a lot easier,If it was me I would just put a End termination valve on for now and repair the valve when you got some spare time in the Fall after RV Season
