Keystone contact ?

Hi All, Can anyone recommend someone to contact at Keystone? I have had a couple posts on here about getting wiring fault and trailer disconnects on the dash when towing. I have taken the 5ver to two different RV shops , One said they couldn't find anything wrong, The second told me the wiring plug was moving in the TV socket. They tapped the plug into the socket to prevent any movement and sent me on the way. Needles to say the code goes off again 8 miles down the road. I don't think either dealer removed the wheels/drums to inspect for stripped wires. The truck has been taken to the dealer that specializes in diesels to get checked out and do problems found. So I am at the point to contacting Keystone again and hoping to speak to someone other than the customer service rep.
Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

I would try Lci1.com, Lippert. They built the frame. They were helpful when I had problems

Start by calling Keystone Customer Service. Usually that will suffice. If that doesn't work for some reason, send me an email and I'll get you some other contacts.

CT, I fought that problem for a long time. I have a "05 f-350. I would first pull the right rear brake drum off, and check the brake wires very carefully. The magnet brake actuating arm had cut the wires one time. After I repaired that it kept sending the fault. Then I removed the clips that hold the wires onto the actuating arm. The insulation had been worn through and was grounding , thus sending the fault. If you find nothing on the r. rear wheel, then pull the r. front and check. As you know the right side of the roadway is always rougher and broken up than the left. Those magnets float , and get bounced a lot.
Another time , the dash was saying trailer disconnect. I finally took the female plug apart
from the rear bumper. It is 2 pieces. The outer piece where the trailer plug goes, is epoxied. the inner piece has small contacts which were corroded. The two parts of the plug has an O ring for a seal, but water had gotten into it. My clearence lights would intermittently flicker on and off also.
Good luck on finding the culprit, I know that it will make you pull your hair out. Bill

ctwebb, had same problem the day we pick up brand new 2011 Montana High Country 323RL. About half way home on 695 beltway in Md, hear a very pleasant chiming sound. To my dismay look down and read "trailer is disconnected." Now trying to work my way over to shoulder from center lane during rush hour
was not very fun considering no lights working on trailer. Once we had got stop on shoulder, check plug to find it had came slightly pulled on angle.
Pushed it back in and almost made all the home before happing again.

After a couple more time, I started making sure plug was all the way in, and flip part was over plug. then wrap with a strip on duct tape to prevent
from lifting off of plug. Have not heard that pleasant chiming sound since.

My new motto, "Duct tape don't hook up without it"

Mine has done that on occasion too, comes on trailer disconnected and then goes out after a bit. It has done it with both my old truck with a Prodigy controller and now has done it with my new truck with intergrated controller. I have gone over the wiring from hitch to brakes and can't find a thing. Probably gonna change them all out to self adjusting hubs and brakes in a month or two...

CTwebb, After re-reading your post, I realized that you wanted phone numbers.
I have 2 business cards that I picked up at the rally 2 years ago. Some management has changed, but I doubt that the phone numbers have.

Thank you all , Just picked up the unit today from the buying dealer, They did find a wire in the brake drum that had rubbed the wire insulation off. Pulled about 130 mile today and did not get the message. I think they may have found the issue. So I would like to say a big Thank you to all of the people at Northgate RV in Ringold Georgia. I would recommend these people if you are in the area.

Another reason to install wire looms outside of the drums too.
