Wireless Remote

I ordered a wireless remote for our 08 3400RL, but none of the features in the panel seem to recognize it. am I missing something in the programming? It came without instructions.

It sounds like the remote is not sync'd with the controller. You have to press and hold the reset button on the controller and then press a button (forget which one off the top of my head) on the remote to mate the two.

Now that sounds logical. Where is the "reset button"?

................there are only three buttons on the remote, an up arow, a down arrow and a light bulb.

IIRC, you have to push the remote button on the remote panel for a minimum of two seconds to activate the system and remote.
