new batteries

I am looking at new batteries this fall, mine our on their last leg. I going to replace my 12 volt batteries with 6 volt golf cart ones. I was thinking today, since I currently have 2 12s, do I need 4 6s? The most we "boondock" is stoppping for lunch and a break from driving while on the road, otherwise we have the generator or shore power.

Sounds like you could get by on one 12 volt deep cycle battery.

There's Mullet Battery | Goshen, Indiana that did carry Trojans. I bought my 4 AGM T105s from them in the summer of 2019. We have a Residential Fridge and Portable Freezer running off our Inverter so I went with 4 for the additional amp hours. If you have an RV Gas/Electric Fridge and no Inverter 2 Six Volts would do you fine.

I swapped my single 12 volt battery to two six volt Trojan’s, like my old fifth wheel. Best thing you could do. If you go to the two six volt batteries you will be very happy. Remember that these are not light weight wise.
Happy and safe roads to you.
