If it's prewired, you should be in good shape - though I would double check. There should be a cover on the ceiling near the vent with capped off wiring already in it ready to be connected to the a/c. If it's powered up, check via a voltmeter and turn each breaker off, one at a time if not marked. The wiring may may have a light on the circuit, but may be dedicated. I used a 20 amp outlet as a way to connect the a/c pigtail with the in place wiring instead of wire nuts. That outlet is only used occasionally with a vacuum but never while the a/c is on.
Hardest part of adding that a/c is getting an odd shaped 100 pounds on the roof. Cleaning a few years worth of Dicor around the roof vent flange isn't a joy either.
