2011 Montana Recalls

I just bought a 2011 Montana and just saw a few recalls on this particular year. I'm the third owner, so I don't know if this unit has been inspected for the stated recalls. I'm wondering if they would still be liable for those recalls. Maybe someone has been a second or third owner and had their unit checked. One recall was for extreme frame flex problem and they would weld in an extra brace. Any input would be appreciated.

I would call Keystone. Have your VIN ready.
Better yet, email them so you have something in writing for future reference.

I would think under a recall, Keystone would be the payer regardless of who did the work and would be the best source for status. On many minor recalls, many owners ( I am one) will often do the repairs themselves and avoid a dealer entirely example, the issue with the steps and bolts a few years ago or the recall on the Norcold frig on our 2010, my dealer sent me the kit and I installed myself and sourced bolts from Ace Hardware for the steps which is not the way it is supposed to work.So on those two fixes I did, no record on the steps, doubt any record on the frig. The Frame issue is not minor, and hopefully Keystone can help you there.

I will be calling Keystone on Monday and sending a email. Thanks. I'm going to search for a picture so I can compare to mine. When reading the list, I noted I could do all but the frame flex.
