Water Pump location
I cannot find the water pump on my 3582RL and was wondering if any one might be able to help. It seems to be somewhere in the middle but not visible from an access panel.

If you take the basement wall out (several screws) it should be right behind the convenience center.

Remove the white plastic panel on the left side of the convenience center. The water pump is right there.

Shurflo has a pump silencing kit with two flexible hoses that will help. If you have the original pump, they were very noisy, so replacement might be needed.

I cut up some left over rubber shelf liner (Walmart) folded up to 1/2" thick to make isolation buffers.
Removed the pump mounting screws and installed the buffers under each screw and the head of the pump (to keep it from vibrating against the floor). I also installed 1/2" foam pipe insulation everywhere a pipe touched a wall or floor. I tested the pump noise, it was greatly reduced. I noticed the pipes mounted on the control panel inside wall were still reverberating noise up through the wall. I insulated them using more rubber shelf liner. Again a great reduction in pump noise. I closed up the wall and tested again from inside the RV. The pump now only has a slight hum.
