Water Hose Protection
Many years ago (grad school) we lived in a Holiday Rambler thru a Colorado winter. Being an experienced "house trailer" dweller, I was careful to install heat tape and insulation over the copper water pipe between the underground faucet and the trailer. Never had a problem (well, one defective heat tape). But, I don't know how a waterhose can be protected (some hookups can be quite lengthy). In our winter travels to date, we've been living off of the on-board water supply and just refilling as necessary, but I'd just as soon be hooked up. Any suggestions? P.S.: I appreciate the responses to my previous queries, but I don't know how to respond to them individually. Any guidance would be welcome.
