First Rally Question

Excited to be attending our first one. We began planning our travel after the rally and looked at when departure is scheduled. Can someone share what has happened in the past?

As usual, this is the best site for the most helpful people. Thanks in advance.

DTH, welcome to the Rally!

The last official day of the Rally is Wednesday, September 16th. Typically most people stay to enjoy the Rally's closing activities and spend Wednesday night, then head out Thursday morning. If you are planning to get your rig weighed, you will need to be around for the Weigh-out, which takes place on Thursday morning. If you are interested in extending your stay at the Fairgrounds, you will need to make your reservations with the Fairgrounds office. They usually will keep you in the same site that you were assigned for the Rally. Site assignments for the Rally will be completed in early August.

I hope this answers your question.
See you at the Rally!

Or look at the 2019 Rally information, that will give you some idea what might happen

DTH, welcome to your first rally. You will be amazed at how fast the rally will go and you’ll wonder where the time went. You will learn about eating places like the South Side Soda Shoppe, The Lux and others that you may not have time during rally to visit. We generally stay a few days after for some down time, to visit Shipshewana and visit some of our old friends that will be staying as well. Plus, there is the MOC version of Mash, where you count all of the left over inventory for the next rally, and helping with tear down. Looking forward to hopefully meeting you at rally.
