Axel swap?

Any plans to swap out the Al-Ko axels for Dexter, due to treadwear problem?

Not sure if I will need to. I am having some irregular treadwear but I'm going to wait to see how it progresses. Sometimes irregular treadwear can becaused by a number of things including improperly ballanced tires and wheels. As I don't see any wheel weights on the wheels I have a feeling balance is the problem. YEAH, YEAH I know I'm imbalanced but I'm not talking about me, I'm talking about my tires.
And seeing as how I am sitting in this cg till May I won't be reporting back for sometime yet.

Keystone has changed over to Dexter.

If you personally wish to do so, might want to consider if the spring hangers are the same distance and placement on the frame for the AlKo and the Dexter. If, not, you will have to cut off the old spring hangers and weld on new ones, in the new position. (Have I got that terminology correct Al??)

Hi Yesterday I went to Webbs rv in Bangor Maine with a friend and his 04 2955 to have both axles replaced. Al-co is paying for this plus 4 new tires. The problem was too much camber in axles when new. About 12000 mi from last years winter trip wore off half the tires. No questions asked, they did it. Out of approximately 100 Montanas, they have only done 4 units. Dan

Alko-Kober replaced our axles in Indiana but didn't give us new tires.
