First Look at 2015 Montana 3611RL & Solar Install

Hi folks,

I have been busy working on mods, so haven't really had time to post. If anyone is interested, check out my blog post which has lots of pictures.

http://montana3611rl.blogspot.com/

Two post are:

First Look at Our 2015 Montana 3611RL

Installing Solar Panels, Automatic Satellite Antenna, and Other Electrical Stuff.

When I went to put my bicycle rack in the read hitch receiver, I was shocked to find they don't put a receiver on the Montana any more.

Also no more remote control for landing gear and slides.

My 2015 3611RL is equipped just like yours except for the full body paint. Going to take a weekend trip this Friday and try ours out.

I am super impressed! Nice to see solar installs and other mods. The comment on power output of aimed panel vs three flat on roof really drives home the message of having at least one aimable panel. Thanks... john

I posted another update to my blog. It includes some more detail on solar wiring on the roof, as well as other modes I have completed.

I hope you plan on tours and a show and tell at the Mid-Atlantic Rally this summer. I want to get a close look at your mods.

Jim,

No problem with tours or show and tell, any time you can track me down is fine.

John,
Glad I read your post. We just bought the same rig. Sitting out here with t o other Monte owners and they asked me where my remote was for the lights, landing gear and slides. I looked dumbfounded. I guess we don't get remotes for the 2015 models.

Very nice, we have a 2016 3721rl on order. Have you tried the heated floor yet? Some one posted it only heats the bathroom even though it says bathroom and bedroom, any insight? Again very nice, jealous. Tks jason and kelly

Ya, no remote, and no trailer hitch on the back for my bike rack.
