Deposits on faucets

We spent the winter in the Rio Grande Valley in Texas. The water is very poor there and we have a buildup or what is probably calcium and sodium on areas of the water fixtures. Is there a product that would easily remove this? I'm concerned about harming or removing the finish on the fixtures which is a kind of antique bronze.

White vinegar. Dub it on, let sit a couple of minutes, wipe with a rag. Might take a couple of applications, If they are really stubborn deposits may need to use a scrub brush or tooth brush with the vinegar. The finish on the faucets that come with the rigs may have some discoloration with the really powerful CLR or heavy duty bath cleaners. That is why I opt for the vinegar. Jim

X2. That's what we use on restaurant equipment.

A decent water filter system also helps in these situations.
