I just got a price to detail my 2955. $18.00 /ft. ($576)
Has anyone paid for this service and how does this price compare.

For 18.00 per foot I would expect a spit shine, carpet cleaning, dinner, drinks for two at the most expensive place in town.3.00 per foot for our 3400..that's about 120.00. Wash, liquid wax top and dry. I did it my self.

In an RV park, we generally pay 4 to 5 bucks per foot for a wash and wax. This also includes the roof.

We had the rig and the tow vehicle all washed and hand waxed for $250. This also included the roof of the rig and roof treatment.

I have paid $80. for a wash and air dry. I usually wash and wax myself. I use RainX wash and wax now. Works great and rig looks like new.

I knew prices in the greater Boston area would be higher than other parts of the country. I guess I was'nt expecting a difference that large!!
Thanks all for responding.
Hey Ozz I'd be willing to go TWO sandwiches, a Bag of chips and your beverage of choice.

Phil and I have spent 12 hours today paste waxing our trailer with Turtle Wax with carnuba. It was the hardest thing we've ever done, probably won't do it again, but it is amazingly beautiful! And even though we've only had it since Oct. there is a great difference in shine between waxed and not waxed.
Right now I wouldn't take $576.00 to do it again.

I ran into Bear Hunter the other day in Gaylord, MI Walmart parking lot. I remarked to him how clean his Montana looked. He said he just got it washed at Zaremba Equipment (big trucking supply/repair facility in Gaylord).
I asked him how much it cost him if he didn't mind. $55.00. I am definitely going to rig down and drive my rig the 30 miles to have that done. It really looked great.

We had our 37 ft TT and TV washed at a truck wash in El Paso, TX and the total charge was $40. I didn't think that was to bad. Sure looked nice aftwards.

If your waxing yourself the only way to go is with a orbital buffer. Speeds up the process and does a great job. Usually do a side a day and over a coarse of 4 days gets the job done. Looks great afterwards.
