Old Fellah dog memorial statute in park

I received this in my email today......

quote:Today I just received official word from Mr. Jessie Palmer the President of the First National Bank of Waynesboro that there will be a place in the new park under construction in the city for a memorial for Old Fella. The city and the bank will maintain the memorial once it is place and the park grounds around it, a great tribute for an old dog. It will be located in a very busy part of town that gets a lot of exposure and people will be able to see it as they pass by in their vehicles.

The work is still going on in Georgia saving animals. Today someone dropped off 8 puppies that didn't even have their eyes open. Richard (Old Fellah's human) is a busy man. I am glad the people didn't kill them and did drop them off so they have a chance.
The spay and neuter facility is almost open and may be by now. I did know they didn't have any cooling in it yet and this is in Georgia. They are trying to get something to cool the place.
