Benson Arizona

Where to stay for a couple of nights? We'll be on our way from TX to Tucson to visit our son. We already have reservations for Kartchner Caverns.

VanMan, there's an Escapees Park in that area. Can't tell you the name but you can check the SKP website. There's also a Passport America park northwest of town just off the interstate that is very nice. Don't remember it's name either but it should be listed on their website. We stayed at Butterfield RV Resort which is in the center of town and a nice park.

Have fun at the Caverns. They're awesome, from what I hear.

We stayed in Benson; at Butterfield`s RV Resort in town. Stayed from Jan. 15 to April 15., nice people running the park there. It,s very clean, and essentials are close by.
Think Tucson is working on the expressway (I-10) widening it, sounded like a long project. Better to keep rig outta that mess.
Hope this helps.

Construction is on the North side of Tucson. Not to bad getting thru there after rush hour. Was there in March.

You might try Cochise Rv resort, very nice a short distance from the Caverns. Kartchner Caverns has Rv parking sites also, how many I don't know. We was in Benson Az in Jan. 07. Its located just off Rt 90. Very nice place, and its a Passport also... GBY....

Thanks, Lindy, that's the PA campground I was thinking of, the place you were staying when we met you folks in Benson. Seems like a long time ago by now.
