Wipes!!!

So, I had to do a very messy job today. Without providing details, or determining who the culprits were, all I can say is wipes, flushable wipes, baby wipes (scented and unscented), are the Devil's spawn. That is all.

I learned that the hard way also several years ago at the house. We were on city utilities when we lived there. Flushable wipes were all the rave at that time. But it didn't take long for our pipes to clog up. Called a plumbing company and they snaked the underground pipes. Ours was under the concrete slab of the house. It wasn't a pretty picture. We quit using them completely after that.

Fast forward, current house, on our own septic system. Getting older now and because of certain health reasons, needed to use something different than TP. But, the hard and fast rule was, those wipes, no matter how much they advertise "disposable" on them, will never go down our toilets.

Fast forward a few more years. A different health issue arose which resulted in me installing Bidets on all the toilets in our house. They worked out so well, I put one on the toilet in the camper. This solved ALL problems. It's been 3 years now. We survived the toilet paper hoarding because we simply did not need any TP any more.

The septic tank at home appears much cleaner. I have a lid and open it often as I dump my trailer tanks in it. No TP floating at the top any more. All gone.

And, in the camper, no TP stuck on the inside screwing up my sensors. There has not been a single sheet of TP down my black tank in the camper in 3 years now. Flushing the black tank is so much easier now and when back flushing or using the black tank rinser the outgoing flow turns from dark-dark brown to clear very fast now.

Yep, those disposable wipes are bad news. Agree with you 100%
