Hole in hot water heater???
So on Sun. eve I notice wet carpet by the hot water heater, oh no! So I check fittings on inlet, outlet...no leaks. Go outside and there is water running out of the burner tube for the propane, small round hole in top of tube with water running out??? Shut off incoming water and leak stops...........must be a hole in the tank?? Have not read about this and pics don`t show any reason for this to happen. The pop off is new and is not leaking. So how hard is it to change a hot water heater I ask??? Any input is always appreciated. Thanks again.

Water heaters are a real pain to change, Camping World has a $29 install sale, I would check with them.

Good chance the WH is starting to decay (full-timing in an '07, maybe it's time). I didn't think they were that hard to replace but if CW is having their $29 sale, then that's a great solution, plus the price of the WH, do-it-yourselfer or not. If nothing else, CW should be able to tell you what's wrong if it's not the WH. I would hope a WH lasted longer than six to seven years.

Yep, a hole for sure! Water heater ordered. Way to far from a CW to take advantage of the 29 deal, but I would if I could!! Looks like a bit of a PIA for sure. Will keep ya updated. Thanks as always.

Got the heater in 2 days from American RV, those folks are great!! Installed and running!!! Not too bad a job, just had to take apart the storage cabinet bottom and back for easy access. Hope to get 6 yrs. + outta this one too!
