Did anyone see "Ellen DeGeneres" today?
So I'm sitting watching Ellen and Demi Moore and at the end of the interview, Ellen asked her about her new "addiction." You could have knocked me over with a feather when she said "Mexican Train Dominoes!!!!!" She said she and husband Ashton Kutcher learned how to play from Salma Hayek and he is absolutely outstanding at the game ... beats them all the time. She even gave Ellen a set ... although not one with one of the nice cases like we've seen belonging to other MOCers.
Mexican Train Dominoes ... not just for RVers anymore!
Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm ... wonder how he'd do in a match with Judy???

Brad, I had similar thoughts but in the interest of keeping all my body parts intact I thought it best to keep it to myself.

AAAAAAAAahhhhh, I think they're in a class by themselves. Demi has an advantage because she would distract all her male opponents. Ashton would probably have the same effect on the ladies. In truth, Glen has been wiping me off the map in MT lately. I've forgotten what it's like to win! I'm also going through withdrawal. I think a wooden sign, declaring "Mexican Train players dwell here" would be an asset.
Vicki, that must have been a shock to hear that story about Demi Moore. I used to watch her on General Hospital when she was about 15 years old. I must have been about 3.

Oh darn, missed the show. We were on the road... headed to the ocean. I am hoping to find some players down here. We were too busy working up north. I think the MOCer games are in the best class, besides the snacks are probably better!!

We do do a fine job with those snacks, Myrna! Wish we were closer, we'd sure play a game.

I haven't had much time to play MT since we got our Dulcimer. That's the latest trend for the Moc'ers. We've got three of us hooked now but we need more to really get going. Trouble is that it's real hard to eat snacks when we're playing.
Guess we'll have to find a way around that one huh Judy?

Forget about snacking, Helen, I'm struggling to play first! Poor Greta goes and sits by Glen and gives me dirty looks! I'll know I'm playing well when the dirty looks stop coming my way. The only bad part is that I wake up in the morning with "the buzzin' of the bees' and 'in a canyon...' running through my head. Those folk songs are addictive!

I thought a dulcimer was for music. Now I find it's a diet machine!

Steve, it works great as a diet machine. I's just too bad that I have to put it down to run to the fridge all the time. With MT you can do both at the same time.

That comment would pertain to either of us...Betty doesn't read or post on the forum. I've tried to get her interested, no luck yet.
