Ghost in the A/C

anyone have a problem like this. Our front A/C unit turns on all by itself. Were hooked in to 20 amp at the house right now. For the past 2 days i would hear a strange noise outside. I go out and find the bedroom A/C unit running. First time it was running on furnace so just the fan was on. Shut if off and everything was fine for a while. Then I heard it again and this time it was running on cool. shut it off again and turned off the breaker till I can find out what's going on. Anyone have any ideas ?

Take a read on this if you haven't already. 2020 Dometic A/C Problems should be part of today's posts. Not that its directly related to what your describing. A good read on stuff I and others either have experienced or are experiencing.

Not sure what rig you have, but if you have the capacitive touch thermostats, that would be my first thought. They are very "touchy" (no pun intended).

Thanks for the info. I had a thought that it might be related to the thermostat. We have a 2019 3721RL. I'll also look into thr other treads to see if this happened to anyone else

Yeah my thought also. Just sent an email to Dometic to see if they can send a replacement as it is still under warranty.
