Norcold fridge "leak"

My DW found water leaking out from under our Norcold 2118 and onto the kitchen floor last night. After a little troubleshooting I found that the drip cup in the cooling unit area was overflowing and the water was running under the fridge back into the kitchen.

I am thinking of running the drip hose through the floor and letting it drain outside.

Anyone else with this problem?

Some of the Dometics, in the past, had the hose come out thru the vent.

I had something similar happen last year. Woke up and found water on the floor of the kitchen slide coming from the Norcold. Inside I found the little deip catcher thing full of water spilling over. Went outside and looked for the end of the drain hose. The little drip pan was DRY, On the end of the drain tube was a little plastic plug? I pulled it off the tube and drained the entire refrig in a minute! Cleaned the little plastic plug, reinserted it and had no more problems since, Hope this helps.

That little plastic plug at the end of the drain tube is to keep critters from crawling into the refer. But they do get plugged up. I try to blow mine out around once a year (if I remember).
