Montana TT

Driving home on I-75 today I passed a Montana (by Keystone) Travel Trailer. I thought the Montana name was only on the 5'ver....

Some of the early models were travel trailers. I remember seeing one at the Toronto RV show, probably the first Montana I had ever seen. I think they must have shuffled them into the Mountaineer line, because you are right in that there are no current Montana travel trailers.

Yep,
Something strange is going on here. On our recent annual pilgrimage cross country we saw three or four of these.

It seems the labels on Mountaineers are dependent on what vinyl is in stock. Ours says "Mountaineer" - our first TT (same year but 315RLS) said "Mountaineer by Montana" and we did see one that just said "Montana".

We saw one on our last trip in July. It did make us take a second look to be sure.

My previous coach was a 2002 Mountaineer 315RLS TT, and it said Montana on front and sides. No where on the coach did it have the Mountaineer logo. Now I dont see anything but the Mountaineer logo. Seems to be whatever the decal person is using at the time is what goes onto the coach.

I just spoke with a man who'd almost finished washing the front cap on his Montana TT.

He said that he'd bought it about 2 years ago and, like most of us, truly enjoys it.

FWIW, he, and his trailer, live about 6 blocks from me.
