Less than 30 amps... Like at home...

I've seen a lot of trailers and 5ers parked in a driveway with an extension cord hooked up... Can you (I assume using an adapter) hook up a 15 or 20 amp line into the power system and run the system (excluding the AC, of course) off your host's garage outlet, or whatever?
I know this is pretty elementary, but after we get our new 3575, we need to park it somewhere, and set it up for a full time use in just a few days...and our dealer has pretty limited space, so we have to take it off to somewhere to do the move in!
