Floorplans

Well, we are talking about our third Montana. We have four requirements - access to bathroom, fridge and bed with all of the slides in and as short as possible. We are thinking the 3610 might fit the bill. We have the 365 Big Sky now and like it a lot, but Terrie is looking for another side aisle. Thoughts?

That's a nice one. Currently our top pick if something happens to this one.

We love, love, love our 3610 and after 3 months couldn't be happier with our decision. We arrived at this model after having a 3400 model and then a 3455 model.

The open concept with arched ceiling is just so spacious and the direct tv viewing we have from the home theater seating is just marvelous. AS well now we don't have to strap down those pesky rocker recliners and 48" shower is a welcomed addition as well.

Good luck with your search, enjoy!!!

Ron,
Beautiful floor plan and looks very nice!
If I could afford it, I'd be tempted.
Keep us posted as to what you decide.

Ron that model per the specs is 38 foot plus long.

Since we know you must add at least 2 feet to that, cause they measure from the middle of the pin to the bumper and don't include all of the ladder stuff nor all the nose stuff, you are looking at 40 foot, maybe a tad more??

MMM, Ron, that is NOT shorter!

This is a no brainer. Get a 3150RL. Everything is available. A large bath, no everything in a small room, washer in the front closet, and no expensive to replace frig.

I did not want a 12cf frig. I wanted a open bath. I wanted the shortest 5th since I double tow. Works for us.

3910 will allow for all three. Length may be a showstopper.

Like DarMar, we have been in our 3610 a little over 3 months and love it! The plan is so open and spacious and bath is great. Very well thought out. Good luck!

3725 will allow all three if you and DW are 99#. If not, open the slide just a little. Also believe it has the most square footage. Street slides cover almost the entire street side.

Our High Country 318RE allows access to the refrigerator, bathroom and bed, but not the living area or kitchen with the three slides closed. You can open the bedroom closet but not the cabinets and drawers. It's 34 1/2'.

We love our 3610. Make sure to get the theater seating. We turned the base of the dining table 180 degrees to get more room. It was not in the center of the space so we moved it over too. We took out two of the dining chairs. We replaced the curtain rod too. Our unit is 5 months old and we are at the end of a 3 month trip. We have had no problems and love this floor plan. This is our 3 rd Montana.

We just purchased a 2014 3155rl. Slide in the bedroom with a king bed and two slide in the living area. It is a wonderful size for my wife two cats and myself. It has all the bells and whistles. Can still use the bathroom when all the slides are in. A great RV.

Ron and Terrie-- The 3582RL is the perfect floor plan with the island sink, rig on an angle straight in from the entry door, the bed at the end of the hall with slide in or out, and the potty room is just up the steps and across from the tub/shower in the hallway. This is the regular floor plan and not the Big Sky edition but you can get the unit in full paint now too. Don't know the length but it is nice! See you in Goshen!

Ron,

Don't think any of the new Montana's are short. Ours got totaled on the way to the Mid-Atlantic Rally, so we never made it. We are currently looking at 3582RL has lots of storage.

I think all the 2015 with 12 cu/ft frig, have one side of Frig accessible, and all have access to a bathroom and bed now.

Thanks for the info. Our 2010 365 is one of the longer units. It has bent the bike rack from dragging on the road because our drive is so steep. We would like the 3100 or 3155 length wise, but Terrie likes the side aisle and I like the theatre seating. Maybe we'll see a new unit at rally that will fit the bill.

We love our 2014 3610RL. We have been traveling since the middle of May and find it very comfortable. Nothing bad to say about it. Bought the 3 option packages, slide covers and G range tires. Wife loves the floor plan. 50" LED TV in living room is awesome. If you get it, you will love it. Enjoy whatever you decide to get.

Our 3900 has the largest bath in the line. It has all the other requests you made except it measures 42' 2". The 3100 and 3150 are approximately 36' and all others are around 40'.

Regardless of what we look at, we keep coming back to the 3610. Maybe they will have something new to show us at rally. Still haven't seen a High Country 293. The 3100 wouldn't allow Theatre seating, it appears. The search continues.

We have a 2012 3582 and we really like the layout. Lots of counter space in the kitchen too. The 2012 allows the TV to lower and have a nice window. The newer models do not.

Petmoose -
Great Floorplan, but two feet longer than our current unit. We are trying to get shorter. There are lots of nice floor plans, but we live at 7500 feet and barely get our current rig up the drive. MOC friends who have visited would agree that it is precarious at best with a big rig. Plus, where we camp, many CG's limit you to 30' campers. NP and State CG's weren't built for today's big rigs.
