The New Montana Finally Arrived
Well our new Montana 3150 finally arrived. So far so good - only found one thing that the dealer did not install that was part of the purchase, but we'll get it squared away. And no Keystone Manuals only the manuals for the appliances and TV's. So we will have to try and figure stuff out as we go. We saved $$$ by going through the COSTCO RV associated dealer, but not sure I would ever do it again. There's a lot to be said about buying local. Like some training maybe. We were assured that the driver delivering the unit was prepared to do the walk-through, but I think I almost knew more then he did already. (Thanks to all the knowledgeable folks on the MOC)
The adventure begins - today is moving day - yea! Can't wait to get all the stuff out of our guest room and back into the Montana. Then maybe we can hit the road.

Congratulations on the new Montana! A really good way to check out the new rig is to come to the MOC rally at 7 Feathers RV Resort in Canyonville, OR in a couple of weeks. Not too far from where you are and it has the added advantage of 40+ other Montana owners who can help with any problem or unknown.

If you need a Keystone manual, go to the M.O.C. homepage and click on "Keystone" at the bottom of the page. Then, click "Customer Service". You will find a link to a manual there.
Good Luck.

Thank you to all - I really was hoping that we would have everything in place in time for the Seven Feather's Rally - we love it there. Looks like we won't make it this year - but next year we will for sure. We look forward to meeting some fellow Montana owners and learning more from those much more knowledgeable then us. And I am sure I will have questions - it's all so new right now, I don't know yet - what it is I don't know! You guys are all so helpful to us newbies!

Congrats on your new Montana. Very exciting. We just received our new one two weeks ago. Also bought mine out of state and had it delivered elivered by a guy that knew next to nothing about the trailer. I was on my own for the walk-thru. We had it loaded up the next day and headed out for our first weekend. Just love the Montana.
I see you guys are from my home town. You guys going to be at the Rally in Redmond in July by chance? We plan on being there to visit all my old haunts.
Have fun!

Tanner1070 - So you are from Bend? We plan to go to the Rally at least for the day. We always find useful information there. Maybe we'll see you there.
We are taking our shake down trip in June - getting a few things added to the Montana first. Luckily where we park our Montana our neighbor has one and has been helpful showing me a few things and sharing what not to do. Always better to learn from someone elses mistakes, as I am sure there will be plenty I make on my own.

Well, finally got 500 miles on the new Truck (killed me to just burn fuel to get miles on the truck) and hitched up for the first time to the new Montana. Had to take it into the local dealer to have a few items added before our first trip in a couple of weeks. The new hitch (Trailer Saver BD3) is a little different then our last hitch and will take a little getting used to. But boy does it hitch and unhitch easily. Not to mention the smooth ride, no more chucking on bumpy roads or when stopping. So far so good.

I dont know how much help the Keystone manual will be. My dealer gave me a copy and you can also find it on line. After reading it from cover to cover, I didnt find much help to solve problems or find where things are. The info provided by the various suppliers was more helpful.
