shower door
Hello, we have a 2015 3611rl. I would like to know how you clean the rails that the bottom the shower door slides in between. I have been using the end of the towel or ear cleaners which is really a pain and does not do a good job. Some help would be a greatly apprciated

On our 2015, we just wipe with a wet rag after showering.

We use a small squeegee on the glass and then wipe the bottom with a cloth.

As stated its a 2015 3611RL. The shower doors are in a track about 3/4" and a cloth really does not fit. You have to roll it up and stick it in the track. This does not do a very good job. Any suggestions please

We use a shower curtain in front of the door. Saves on having to squeegee the glass and It protects the lower track.

As was advised on this site, we took and drill bite and where the slots are in the bottom rail drilled each so the bottom of the slot was below the bottom of the rail so the rail drains. Also use a foam painter brush the same width of the track to clean any remaining items. Works GREAT!

An old tooth brush works pretty good too. Oh!! Just had a flashback to basic training cleaning parties!

After two weeks of frustration we installed a shower curtain and rod which works soooo well. If we need to clean those pesky rails we also use an old tooth brush along with some paper towel.

We use a shower curtain inside the shower doors. Doors stay latched back and I just have to wipe the "fuzz" out of the tracks every now and then.

And a teaspoon works really well for cleaning out a grease trap!

Check out the post by Hedgehog titled 3160RL first trip under the Maintenance section here on the Forum. It has solutions as to the cleaning and getting the track clear of water after the showers.
The DW uses a cup of heated white vinegar with Dawn added to it to clean the shower doors and walls IF a soap scum develops on it. We also use a squeegee on the doors and walls of the shower after showering and it helps to keep all the a lot cleaner.
