Diesel Prices Finally Coming Down
I just fueled up at our local Costco and paid $1.86 for Diesel. Using my Costco,Amex card with extra 3 % discount, It puts the net at $1.80 per gallon. I can't remember when it was that cheap. What was amazing was the Chevron station about 1/4 mile away had their prices at $2.85 credit, $2.75 cash. Simple math says I saved about $30 on this tankful by not fueling up at the Chevron. And I keep reading the prices will go lower yet.

I wish our Costco stores here sold diesel. The cheapest today is $2.02 per gallon.
Still, WAY better than $4 a gallon in the past.

I am happy with the local Costco at $2.359. (Murrieta, CA, about 60 miles NNE of San Diego.) Less than $2.00 cannot be complained about. We must enjoy it while we can. I am not looking forward to the "comeback"

We, of course, are really enjoying the new fuel pricing the last while but we would be willing to pay a little more if it could improve the lives of the thousands of workers that have been laid off in the oil industry.
Unfortunately the big corporations, rather than wait it out with a less profitable financial picture to present to their greedy shareholders, have slaughtered the lives of the very hardworking people that made them all that money in the good times!!!
Life can be tough for the working stiff!!!

Life can also be hard on the "retired stiff" who is on a fixed income and not getting a COLA on his Social Security or his Military Pension but MOST necessities seem to be increasing in price.

I would say that prices are abnormally low. Low prices are going to hurt some people at the bottom of the supply chain as well as help consumers at the bottom end of the salary and work environments. coming from four buck prices, I was happy to see mid threes. Who would believe twos and diesel less than two...insanity. john

Paid $2.69 in Boise, Idaho with some stations at $2.79... Fairly normal for Idaho who feels its OK to rape the local drivers who make low wages and pay high prices. It is inpart to pay for road maintenance but primarily profit for the already well off!!

$2.07 straight off the pump in Grain Valley, Missouri. I'm not monetarily sympathetic to any connection to the oil and gas industry. You choose your occupation and you should deal with what plays out after that choice.

On Thursday (12/3) at Buc-EE's in New Braunfels, TX I paid $1.809/gallon for Diesel. After my 3% AXP rebate it was ~$1.75/gallon. Best price since I bought my Diesel truck in 2009.
