Mystery Slide

OK, this is a new one on me....

We have been home about a month after being in Florida for the winter. I closed the RV.....The other day as I walked past the slide out side I noticed that the living RM/Dinette slide was open about 2-3 inches...The bedroom slide is completely closed.

Thanks for any wise words youu may have...

If you have the Operation and Service Manual, check it out. If your slide 'drifts out' it says to check for leaks in the hydraulic system.

BTW, the manual says that each coach has it's own "personality." Maybe you should go have a little talk with it.

Ours did the same thing. Turned out that the check valve in the hydraulic pump was leaking and had to be replaced. Fortunately it was covered under extended warranty. Cost before warranty was $567, but only had to pay $50 deductible.

We saw one case in a SOB camper with the exact Lippert setup. It was found that one of the valves was not entirely open by a turn or so. Our 1 year keystone bumper to bumper Warranty will expire May 8th. We have several issues on record with Keystone and we will see how that works. There are of course individual vendor warranties, example the winegard antenna system, 2 years parts, 1 year labor.(it is good to know these things and have them listed)We do have the extended warranty and will come under its full protection May 9th..that makes me feel much better.
