Living room TV antenna reception
I tried searching old posts for answers to my question but no luck. I have a 2019 20th anniversary with Jensen TVs. My bedroom TV gets excellent reception when the booster is on. The living room TV only gets about 1/2 the channels. In the pass through on the curbside, there is a white and a black cable feeding a splitter. I assume 1 from cable, the other from my batwing antenna. There is 1 cable hooked to the other end of the splitter and 3 open terminals. On the roadside of the passthrough there is another cable and antenna jack. This is how it was set up when I purchased it last Spring. I tried running a cable from the one of the 3 open terminals on the curbside to the antenna jack on the roadside and it didn't improve my reception in the living room at all. Do I need another booster for my livingroom or am I missing something? I have other issues as well, but need to tackle them one at time. Furnace quit working, pilot in the oven won't light. Shower door broke on my maiden voyage. Besides those things, I love it.LOL

Yes a few times. I'm in Sugarland Tx. I get all major networks in my. I was getting Fox on my living room TV. Now not getting that either.

The only other thing I can think of is you don’t have a good connection from your cable. Maybe someone else on here may have an idea.

Ours is the exact same. I redid all connections and replaced the amp/splitter with same result. I temporarily ran a new section of cable from splitter in bedroom to TV in LVRM along the floor inside. That did the trick.
Our cable is damaged somewhere along the line. Hopefully yours is just bad connectors.

In the past many complained about the cheap ends and sloppy work Keystone did on the coax cables. (Somehow Amish Craftsmanship does not include television connections) That was the case with my 2006. I replaced all the ends on every coax in the rig with good compression ends. Solved all most all my reception problems.

We had splitters that simply did not work. We also had a spot where they used a screw that was too long and penetrated the coax.

Living room TV antenna reception
My suggestion is, while you have it opened up reduce the amount of "T's" and repeated in each line. Reduce them down to a minimum. Each one cause a little bit of Signal loss. If you can home run them to each TV you will have the maximum signal. Then try running that through a Booster if you need to.
Remember - Not all Boosters are equal.

That is easy to explain. The Amish aren’t supposed to have televisions.

If you had a cable tracer (IT and cable guys do) you could put it on the living room TV cable end and trace it back to the splitter to verify it is connected correctly.
Maybe check with a local TV or computer repair shop to see if they would make a house call with a tracer.
My splitter is behind the convenience center on the ceiling.

We had the same problem in a keystone Outback travel trailer. I changed coax cables, splitters, even the tv nothing seemed to help. That was actually one of the things that pushed us into trading to the 5th wheel that we really wanted anyway.

JG, sorry for your issues. We seemed to have a similar issue on our 2015 when we were in fringe locations. I invested in some of the Home Depot Klein tools to make sure cable was good and could trace the lines. I also bought Klein Coax ends and install tools. The easiest way is to get your dealer to fix it, since it’s new. But, since many of us are do-it-yourselfers, investing in tools is what we do. Our main issue was on the outside under the skirting. They put junctions there to connect after slides are installed. That is the place Keystone found as an issue on ours at rally one year. Then, there were more connections behind our fireplace and also the coax plate behind the TV. Also, you do not want any splitter ends open. Either get a terminator or a different splitter. Best of luck and keep us updated on what you find.

Exactly the point I was trying to make. I guess my sarcasm didn't come through.
