Fan running in panel at steps going to bedroom

We have a 2020 3931FB and since we have moved to a permanent spot in the campground we are hearing a fan start running in the panel at the steps.

I seem to remember someone posting at one time about a fan running and the comment was it was the cooling fan for the inverter???

I don't know whether we just didn't hear it before because of other outside noise since it is much quieter here, or it just started. And it is not all the time. I did notice that the temperature in the rig inside is always at 74 or above before it comes on. The weather has been great and we have just been opening windows instead of running the A/C.

Any ideas or advice??

Thanks.

If your circuit breaker panel is there, it's the converter cooling fan.
The converter runs your 12v system and charges your batteries.

Just to add, it is normal for the converter cooling fan to run. The process of making 12V to charge the battery and run 12V equipment generates heat and the fan help cool the converter.

Our bathroom is right above the fuse panel box. You can hear the fan speed go up each time another 12v light or such is turned on. Several different speeds.

Our converter fan would run a lot before I replaced all the light bulbs inside the rig with LED's. Now, we rarely hear the fan run, so the 12 volt load has really decreased since doing the LED upgrade.

Normal CONVERTER cooling fan noise. If you have an inverter it will be mounted elsewhere and will also have a loud fan.

If it seems to be running more than normal, look around for something that would be draining the batteries. Same thing happened to me, it turned out to be my breakaway switch was pulled out from our last tow. Pushed it back in and the fan stopped about a half hour later when the batteries fully charged.
