A nice gas powered truck will get you where you won't to go just not as easy as a diesel. If not going very far or fast a gasser will work. Don't forget a gasoline powered truck looses 3.6 of its power for every 1000 feet of elevation. Laramie Wy is at 7200 feet the mountain on I 80 east of Laramie is 8900 feet.

You are in the right place for your question and you will get good feedback, however youwill need to do the home work to get the answers you need. Part of the problem often is what are the other needs of you TV. I pull a dump trailer with ours often so I need to be able to tow 7 ton of crushed rock and do other projects on the HDL. So my thought is you can not have too big of a truck.
