Recognizing Veteran's Day!!
Today we should spend extra effort to thank all our Armed Forces Veterans for their service towards keeping the United States as well as many other countries safe and free.
Congratulations to all veterans for providing the courage and discipline and taking responsibility for doing their jobs wherever they served.
Nowadays, so much time is spent on the few negative events regarding our Veterans or their leaders but we must appreciate and not forget the millions of other positive events that don't get the recognition they deserve.

Art, you are absolutely right. We should all thank our Veterans every chance we get, not just one day a year. Their sacrifices have assured the rest of us the freedoms we too often take for granted.
Thank you Veterans, each and every one.

We ran down to Bellingham to take advantage of Applebee's free meal for veterans. There were so many grey haired men standing outside waiting to get in we went over to a Mexican restaurant and had a very fine meal, even if we did have to pay for it.
It was good to see so many were getting their free meals. Thanks Applebee's

A hearty THANK YOU to all of the veterans of any arm of service. DW and the girls ventured north to the hill country of WV today to take my Dad and Mom out to dinner at Applebee's. Dad is retired Army (23 yrs and two Viet Nam tours), so he got the free dinner out of the deal anyway. I had work obligations and had to miss out on the fun, but I am sure all had a great time. Happy Veteran's Day to all.

Called the "ole man" today and thanked him for his service in WWII. He will soon be 90 and part of a quickly fading generation. Wounded and happy to be home, he raised two great kids, my sister and I. We love him, we appreciate him and so many of those Vets then and now who served. I thank Applebee's for a nice lunch, my wife and family and this great country for their attention to a special Veteran's Day. Thanks guys and gals for serving our country! Let our service never diminish! Let our country stand by it's beliefs and its God.

I’ve never served in any branch of our great military but had it not been for those that have, I wouldn’t have the freedom I have today.
Thank you Vets!
Here’s to the Vets!
