Mountaineer 375FLF
We just ordered a Mountaineer 375FLF with a finish build date of April 4th. Is there anything we need to know about this unit? We sold our Keystone Sprinter 311BHS and think we can manage without the bunks. We like how we can close off the front living room if the kids sleep up there. We are going to add Max Air covers and Dirt Dobber screens over the hot water heater and heater exhaust.
Thanks,
Brent and Leslie

Hope you enjoy your new Montana. A second a/c unit will help a lot on those hot summer evenings. Check the suspention U-bolts for the correct torque. Most are quite loose. Keep a close watch on the tire pressure and lug nut torque. The tires have earned a bad reputation. This forum is a great place to learn about your new trailer. I know I learned a lot from this group.
Welcome aboard:-) :-) :-)

Look it over closely when you take delivery and don't let them rush you. Things can happen and it's easier if you catch something early on.

Check the plumbing connections, because some may be only finger tight. If you have a black tank check valve, it might be a good idea to get an extra, then locate the original and zip tie the replacement next to it. Inspect the roof caulk like a rat terrier. Wise choice on the second AC. Have a blast.

Enjoy the new trailer Brent and Leslie! As mentioned, make use of the PDI sheets on the main page, and expect to take a good amount of time to do your inspection. We have the front living room too, and really like the floorplan.

Brent, you listed Fan-tastic Ultrabreeze Vent Covers. As consideration look at the Maxxair vent covers for fantastic fans. They come in White or Black model #'s 850 for white and 950 for black. Just another consideration. Good Luck.
