2015 Chevy & GMC HD's

The GM truck plant is going down for changeover from December 20 until January 21 to change over to the new body style heavy duty trucks. Allowing for ramp-up time, that means they will be building the 2500 and 3500 trucks at full capacity by the end of February.

That corresponds with the dealers taking orders towards the end of February. So those of you considering a 2015 HD don't have long to wait. New options include a spray in bedliner and 5th wheel hitch.

I'm looking forward to checking them out, but I'm certain to be driving this one for awhile yet.

I have been hinting to DW about how nice the ride is on all of the new trucks and the fact that we really need a "match" for the new rig. The response was as expected. The one that "you" said would last for 20 years is paid for and it is still good for 12-13 years! Daggone reliable diesels!!

Bingo, how about this: "But Cathy Dear, just think how nice it would be to have a new shiny TV to go with that new shiny Montana Big Sky", then give her the big sad puppy eyes, maybe even a little whimper.

Bingo, you were absolutely correct when you said it would last for 20 years. You just failed to mention who all would own it for those 20 years. Your time is up, now it's someone else's turn.

I have a suspicious hunch that none of these suggestions are going to have any influence on the one who is set in her ways!

OK, what about a major problem with the current TV that has developed and will take thousands of dollars to fix, making it better to just replace it.

I would think that would be considered lying? Not a good tact to take after almost 25 years of marriage!
