EZ Pass - Sunpass Pro

I am headed to the NE in September and plan on driving toll roads probably in NY & OH. I thought I was smart by recently upgrading to a Sunpass Pro as it is supposedly accepted throughout the eastern part of the country (I live in FL). I unpacked that sucker and read up on where it’s accepted and found the fine print “only good for 2 axel vehicles outside of FL, buy and NC quick pass if pulling a trailer”. What??

I see a thread about EZ Pass from 2019 and wonder what people are using lately as I need to get something soon.

Thanks for your suggestions.

We just went from Key West to Maine.
For the south east Sun pass.
Many states are now scanning license plates and sending you the bill.
North east EZ pass.
You need two.
1 white one for not hitched (tow vehicle only)
1 blue one. This is for when you are towing your 5er.
We put the one we are not using in a tin can in the center console so we don't get billed twice.

EZ Pass is probably your best bet. Think it's accepted in most places, even in most places in Florida. We have both a Sun Pass for our Winters there and two EZ Passes, one for Towing and one if running Solo.
