Winterizing water pump

Getting out of the cold and heading to Florida. I winterized with antfreeze and I’m never going to use the worthless suction method again. When I use compressed air do I need to do anything with the water pump? Thanks

you just run it for about 30 seconds till you hear its dry with the low point drains open, then go ahead with your air method. I also agree, i hate the suction method it seems easy enough but i sort of like the air method.

Have your compressed air on while running your pump. It will insure all water is out of the pump.

Put a pair of 60 watt old style bulbs with it.
