First time RV. First Time Fifth Wheel
Steve & Co. refers to my mother and I, for now. She is 79 and in ill health.I'm her primary caretaker as an only child. I'm 60, unmarried, and no children. She knew this is what I wanted to do when she passed and due to a sudden shift in her health she wants to see some national parks while she has time left. So, I hustled and I bought my truck and just go our fifth wheel.
We have a 2019 Ram 3500 crew cab, long bed Laramie with the level 2 package and only 21k miles when I bought it.several months ago. We purchased a 2019 Montana High Country 381th that if it was used it must have only been once or twice since it is like brand new. I had stumbled across this floor plan because I wanted a toy hauler, but didn't like how the traditional TH had limited living space. the 381TH has a garage under the bed which is in the back and the living room in the front. I only needed space for an ATV and some equipment as my hobby is gold prospecting.

I'm hoping to get mom to some parks soon as her health is very bad.

That is awesome mom wants to hit the road at age 79. I read this to my own mom (78), who now lives with my wife and I, and she was happy for you and your mom. You're never to old to experience new things. Safe travels to you two.
