Steve,
Post a minute ago was before my first sip of coffee! I offset the carriers such that my lights are visible (also clear of the ladder when inside bike is set with front wheel to ladder side). I also bought and mounted a tag holder w/ light to the rack and wired a 4 wire trailer plug to the light and moved my tag to the rack (travel with Obsidian 2 bike cover (use individual Obsidian covers when off the rack). Our bikes might be little heavier than Lectrics, we have a pair of Greenbike GB 1 Mag folders (tried keeping them in basement - which worked fine but a PITA to get in/out).

Very stable on the rack (use straps at each end to rig for great stability), I can easily load/unload the bikes by myself (I watched the HR video).

Rip,
Thank you for the info, must be a good rack. Went to the website to check them out and everything is out of stock. We also have the Legacy package with rear cap. Did you get the longer receiver shank from Hollywood or somewhere else?i
Do you notice any bouncing or wobbling in the receiver hitch? I would think it is pretty stable since it’s the higher rated receiver.
Thank you very much for your feedback, it nice to be able to ask someone that has what your thinking of purchasing

Thanks again Steve

Have to buy from them (or weld something). They are proud of it too$$$

It is out of stock too: https://hollywoodracks.com/collectio...30977160773701

I think they were OoS when I was buying too. Had them ship ahead to a CG in TN. I spent more time getting paint sludge out of the receiver than actual assembly/install of the rack. They would not let me order w/ long tube (I bitched to deaf ears). Keeping shorter tube to use on our little truck (F150) - have to unbolt the rack from the fiver's tube but since I had to persuade it to go in it is probably easier than moving the whole thing. I have to order an extra threaded receiver pin, which also ticks me off...

Steve,

FYI - I signed up to be notified when in stock but kept checking their site. Got one before I was notified, actually we were never notified. Perhaps their system is that smart or it doesn't work at all.

We have a 2021 3231 CK with legacy package I believe you have the same receiver on the back of your 5th wheel rated for 3000lbs.

Thanks for any info you could pass along.
Safe travels
We’ve been using ours about 18 months now, couldn’t be happier with it, no problems, very sturdy! As far as seeing the tail/brake lights, not a problem!

Greetings,

I saw your post and looks like you were able to mount the bike rack. Looks great. I too have a '21 3121RL Legacy. after I mounted to the RV hitch I tried putting the bike rack hitch onto that hitch and it hits the back or the rig and the holes won't line up. did you have any issues? Any insight is appreciated.

After looking trough more of the posts I found the answer from RIP. I have ordered the shank extension which will solve my issue! Thanks and love this site for all the help and insight it provides! Cheers!

Just logged in to reply - glad you found it. I found some detailed dimensions before I purchased and knew I needed the longer shank, but they wouldn't swap it before shipping (not happy about that).

Joey,

Do you have a Legacy model with the rear fiberglass cap? I think only Legacy units with rear caps need the longer shanks.

Just wanted to thank you for taking the time to reply to my post. The needed extension is probably unique to the Legacy models or at least rigs with that end cap style. Safe travels and Happy times all!

Cheers,
Mike N.

We have a Swagman XC2 Hitch Mount Bike rack with a 12" receiver extender to keep the handlebars off the trailer and anti-rattle hitch tightener. Holds two 35 lb bikes. It was the only bike rack we could find at the time that did not stick out far from the trailer. We place foam pipe insulation under the clamps that secure the bike frame to the rack and use a small/short bungee cord to secure the wheels to the rack.

If we ever purchase electric bikes will need to purchase a higher weight-rated rack.

Just make sure the bike rack is rated for the weight of the electric bikes with adequate safety margin.

Rip, thanks for the info. Kinda have to switch direction, wound up getting one rad mini step through to see if the wife could ride it. Unfortunately she can’t (she has a balance problem due to MS) so I have turned my focus to a three wheel trike ebike. Problem is no one makes a bike rack for a ebike trike, been looking at cargo carriers but there not wide enough. Probably have to go custom build.
Thanks for letting me know about the rack being back in stock.
Thank you Steve
