Anyone Upgraded with MCD shades on Bed Slider windows

I've done another one of my other windows that didn't come with the MCD shades but now have the bedroom left to do. The traditional day/nights are screwed to the wall of the slider. You need to hang the MCD shades with the clips from the top of the valance. My valances are not that sturdy and the valance is screwed into the top of the slide body, which also looks pretty weak. Has anyone done this mod and how did you secure the MCD's to the top of the slide?

We had all of our windows in the Montana converted to MCD shades and really love the results. The one in the bedroom was mounted to the wall but we mounted it right to the ceiling of the slide with screws and it worked great. Very strong and solid!

Had all of ours converted as well. Added bracing for the valance and then screwed to it.

Can you describe how you enhanced the valance to support the MCD shade?

Just used some L brackets where I could anchor it to something behind it.

That's interesting you say that, because that is how Keystone mounted all the other valances that have MCD shades in our Legacy Edition using the angle braces.
