I Didn't Notice the Name Change Until Now

....hahaha those new titles are cute.
Who thought those up? Or, have they been there awhile and I'm just now noticing?

If anyone hasn't noticed the change, look to the left where the name of the author of a post is. I'm a "MOC Addict".

AHA! So it's not just us! We've been gone from the site over the weekend and we come back to NEW names and stuff. We thought WOW, when did this happen? But did we lose some stars? We're really "starry-eyed" over this site and get a kick out of the new things. Fun, fun, fun! We have work to do as we are only a 1 star
"devotee"--but look out! We are just getting started.

Why do some posts say "posted" and another say "NOT MODERATED!!!"?

The moderation proceedure is probably necessary, but sure takes the spontaneity out of the forum. Postings this AM are taking well over an hour to appear. SIGH

well, isn't that interesting, this posted immediately, other posts this AM still are not posted. I am easily confused, and this qualifies as confusing.

Maybe they have changed the settings so that all posts have to be reviewed before they are posted? There are many forums out there with that option available to the admin.

Now One-Of-The-Five-Carols..... if this confuses you..... *oh-oh*
I have an idea!! Take a picture of your hubby and your montana and then you'll be able to find them at the reunion!!!

What is happening with the latent posts being published is currently a mystery. We are working on it and we do apologize for any inconvenience.

The new font is interesting, looks pretty good on my lap top, but wowie ouch, it is HUGE on the desk top. Will there be a way (or is there a way we are not aware of) where we can change this ourselves?? Or maybe consider a compromise in the size??

Just wondering.

Oh, the latent posts seem to be in the Rally Around forum, the rest seem to be posting pretty normal, or as in the past immediately.

Thanks for all your hard work!

A compromise of changing the font size won't work. The size only went up one level and they are reset, no odd numbers are available. Some of the size of the font will be Dependant on what your computer recognizes. If you don't have the Verdana font installed on your computer which is Forum Co's default font then your computer will go to a different font for viewing and that could make it quite large.

Beyond that someone else may have a suggestion on what you can do within your own computer to view pages or maybe just this Forum?

font installed on both computers, checked to be sure, ha ha, now, I can stand across the room with the desk top and read. Topic headings are all jumbled up, something about the width.

We will get used to it, sure is a interesting change!

Regarding the Moderation of the Forum. We do NOT pre-screen messages before they are posted. When you post something it goes on the Forum immediately. If it does not make it on the Forum then there is something going on with your PC or somewhere else along the line. It is NOT us! If a post must be removed or altered it is done so only after it is posted. The nice thing about this Forum is that there is very little need to make any changes what-so-ever! We have such a nice group of folks posting that it is simply not necessary to make any changes. Or at least very few.

RE: the size of the text...... if you are using IE go to the VIEW tab at the top and choose TEXT SIZE. Then change it as you need. Good luck and let us know if you continue to have problems.

RVWheels, the trick with IE and view works just fine, I moved from Medium sized to small and it looks a lot better.

As far as postings, all the postings I made today to every forum posted, EXCEPT one posted to the Rally Forum, the thread was one I started about "Whose Montana is Whose?" The post I attempted to send, is still there 8 hours later with the words, "Not Moderated" instead of the word "Posted". This is right at the top of my attempted post. I just checked it again, and same thing. It is not an important post, so whatever happens to it is just fine

Duh, where have I been? Just goes to show not only how accustomed one becomes in their "environment" but also how unobservant I am. Thanks for bringing to my attention.

Wow, I am a "MOC Aficionado" -- how cool is that????
