That is so great and I was just going to order some. For anyone who has switched to LED's, which ones did you use in the under cabinet lights - over the sink? They are right at eye level, you need the light but sometimes they are blinding?

I got all my LED's from Mike and would endorse anything he is behind as quality stuff.

Dick,
Thanks for posting the link. I too have the getting "older" problem.

Earlier this year we changed all of our lights over to LED from Kat & Michael, what a difference. I have talked to numerous RVer's about them and now I can forward their website to them.

Congratulations to Kat & Michael.

WOW! I just created a spreadsheet with EVERY light bulb on the inside and the convenience lights on the outside (scare, porch, compartment) and it totaled out to 62 bulbs! Just the 921, 1141, and 1142 types, if we turned them all on at the same time, are using 888WATTS!!! Then I plugged in the wattage for the LED and it comes out to 128WATTS! That is an incredible difference! Now I just have to figure out which ones we would really need when we are boondocking.

Okay...I just realized that after 8years of marriage the Electrical Engineer husband has actually worn off on me! Teehee

They also provide better light so we don't use as many lights in the rig now as we did before.

I have been thinking about changing some of our lights over to LED's. One question I have for those of you who have changed over already....Are these lights a lot brighter then the original ones?

I have noticed on some of the sample lights at the RV dealer that they are very bright and the areas we want to put them in they will be to blinding. I wanted to put them in the light under the cabinet above the kitchen sink but they would be way to bright there. Is there some that are dimmer?

Thanks for any advice,
Scott

We haven't found that to be a problem. If we are getting too much light in an area we just turn off a couple of them so when we hit the switch they don't all come on.

Just received my new LED's from Mike & Kat and what a difference. I ordered enough to try them out (15 & 18's) . Boy what a difference. First thing I noticed - they're white light vs. the yellow tint of the original bulbs. I put the brighter lights under the cabinets in the kitchen and I can actually see now. The 15's worked great in the bedroom sconces. So I am ordering the rest, my only concern is if I put the 18's in all the ceiling lights they may be too bright. Need to get thoughts from those of you who have already switched to LED's...

We installed them in every fixture. Our rig was somewhat dark to begin with. DW loves the new lights. She uses all of the ceiling fixtures especially if were in trees or shade.
