San Diego to Padre Island

Leaving from San Diego 3/25 Via I-8 to I-10 to Tucson AZ
Van Horn TX on the 26th
San Antonio TX on the 27th
Padre Island on the 28th

What is the hurry?? I would take two weeks or more to do that trip. And I would be on the back roads--not the interstate.

Your right but not doing this by myself. the others have to be back at work at a certain date.

Deming is a good stopover if you need one about there. Lots of parks including an Escapee park as well as a usually crowded Walmart.

The Los Cruces KOA is also a nice park if you need to stop, particularly if you can get around the outside.

Thank you all for the advice but we are KOA,ing it for this trip. The stops that we will be at are overnights except for Padre Island that for 5 nights.

We made it!!! We are at the KOA in South Padre Island! everything went very well. All are Safe!
