I too am trying to sell my Montana to purchase a newer one. If you don't mind me asking, how did your buyer know you had your fiver for sale??

One thing to try is Craigs list. Even though we lived in the boonies of Kansas we had folks coming from Nebraska, Oklahoma and all over Kansas to buy our furniture, antiques, art, a canoe and my motorcycle when we went full time. Two guys showed up at the same time for the Motorcycle (I told them first one to put cash in my hand) and they bid against each other till I got $1500 more than I asked (was a low price). Should be able to move a Monty on there.

I've sold lots of stuff, too. Most recently was a computer system. Be careful of scammers, there are many on Craig's list.

Scammers are an issue. Had at least one try on everything we put out there, but worth the aggravation to be able to unload our stuff.

I have it on Craiglist and haven't gotten any action yet. It may partly be because of the very hot weather. Plan to pull the ad and lower the price some. And yes, I have had scammers calling me. Thanks for your replys.

I had minev on craigslist of 6 different towns...I am on facebook , so one evening around 7:00pm I posted mine on facebook, put alot of pictures in an album. in 20 minutes I had my first call from a town 90 miles from me, then an hours later another from nashville tn, but the one who bought it was from florida! bought it from the pictures, came up, never tried dickering on the price gave me what I asked, and in my mind I was asking did I price too low? lol, but no the price was fair, I had looked up on Nada and the average retail for mine in the good condition it was is $22,260, the low retail 18,770 and that was if it was in poor condition. So I priced mine $760.00 below that for to give room to negotiate. But that wasn't nessary. The truck sold itself for it was immaculate ! And a 7.3 diesel with only 146,000 miles on a 99..
