Rear Stabilizers Not Working - Help Please

My rear stabilizers are not working, either by the switch or the remote. Testing by multi-meter shows no voltage at the switch. The 40 amp landing gear fuse is fine.

Does anyone know if the power goes to the motor first, then to the switch (leading to suspect a burned out motor), or if perhaps there is another fuse hidden someplace?

We recently had our motor repaired (didn't want to spend the $500 for a replacement). BTW, if you do have a motor failure typically due to water from the roadway seeping in, try an Auto and Truck Electric place.

Now, to answer your question - there should be 12 volts at the manual switch at the rear of the trailer; 12 volts goes to the switch first. As for where the fuse is, I do not know. I suspect the breaker is in the front compartment but this is just a guess.

I have a quick story on my rear stablizers. the motor didn't work so i had to disconnect the legs by taking them apart....tied them up.
went to dealer who overnighted a 2nd electric motor and guess what, that motor didn't work.

took the whole back leg system off trailer and i picked it up the following week when they put the 3rd motor on.
sounds like you need another motor....easy to put on though.
p.s. for 1retired06.....what backup system? my legs were frozen in the down position.

On the driver's side wall of your basement two cranks are hanging one is for the front landing gear (takes king kong to turn it from what I understand) the other is for your rear stabilizers. The end on the crank with the slots in it goes on the end of the screw drive rod where the pin is thru it, again on the drivers side.
