Satellite Receiver location for all TV's
I have connected my satellite receiver in the living room entertainment center with the RGY wires from receiver to TV. Satellite antenna wire into Living room satellite connector from outside. Coax connector in entertainment center to satellite receiver. This provides service in the living room only. Has anyone discovered a way to connect the receiver and have satellite service to living room, bedroom and outside storage location from the same receiver? Thanks.

Is it Directv or Dish?? For Directv unless things have changed you need a receiver for each tv, at least that is the way ours works.

I have a coax out on my Dish 211. I removed the short cable loop and wired the receiver out to the bottom coax. This allows the bedroom and basement TV to watch the same channel. Mostly what I use it for is setting up the satellite, I use the basement tv so I can see the signal strength when aligning the dish.

You can do it but it cannot be done in HD, you will need a RF modulator to convert the signal back to SD to send it through the RG 6 cables. My Directv recievers only have two outputs HDMI and RCA, you can use the RCA to go into the RF modulator.

Depends on the rcvr. If you have an RF output (channel 3 or 4) you could connect that back into the other port behind the LR TV, that would feed the sig to the BR and Basement ports. Problem is most of the newer rcvrs no longer have an RF port, if that is the case you might be able to buy an RF Modulator from Radio Shack. This would mean that all sets would have to watch the same program and the quality wouldn't be as good at the LR TV but is do able.

You don't say if you have Dish or Direct.
We have Dish and like Ken (brenkco) I just connected the "antenna out" coax connector of the VP211k sat box to the existing coach coax wiring for the televisions. The bedroom room TV (don't have one in the basement) receives the same program that is displayed on the living room TV since it is only a single channel sat box, but at least you can watch it there.

I use a series 1 TiVo / DirecTV receiver. It has RCA and coax terminals.

We have Dish and it will run the front room and the bedroom with one receiver and to remotes. You can watch differant channel one and another on the 2nd tv, at the same time. Couldn't do that with Directv.

Update: I was able to run the coax out back to the "cable" connection, then changed the jumper to outside in the bedroom giving me football outside from a small portable 12V TV.

I bought an HDMI splitter which allows me to run two TV's off of one Direct TV box. You can also split coax - the difficulty is running the HDMI cable and/or coax to the second unit. At present, I have a Winnegard HD roof mounted dish, and two boxes, one for the living room and one for the bedroom - then I use the HDMI splitter in the bedroom to run the outside/storage area TV. I had my dealer run the HDMI cable to the storage compartment.

I use a splitter to go forward to the bedroom TV, and I also conected regular bradcast to the dish receiver which allows me to switch up front to reg broadcast if I want and watch dish in back
