Glass globe over dining room table

On Friday my husband opened the door of the Montana to find the glass globe over the table shattered into about 1,000 pieces. It's a funny looking light, does anyone have any idea where you can get another globe? It's not a standard one.....

You may have to order it from your dealer.

They will never have a clue which one it is... I'm surprised they can find their butt with both hands.

Melissa, you are most likely gonna need to order it from SOME dealer, or RV parts store. Lots of these lights, etc, in our RV's are special sizes.

We are finding that several of the light fixtures don't hold the globes in well, tried the rubber band trick, but they get brittle and eventually rot away. I think Al did a little lock tight application the last time. And of course, we are now checking fixtures frequently. Such is the life of a RVer>G>G>

You are sooo right Carol. We have to check our light fixtures before each trip as we noticed that the little screws do loosen up quite often.
It's on our list of things to do "before take-off".

I have used locktite, and it seems to do the job well. I use it on all the screws for all the globes.

Mine did the same thing, I had Keystone replace the light and my dining table.

What if a person took some white silicone and went around the globe where the screws rest. run your finger around to smooth it down and then leave it set before reinstalling it. This would be like the rubber band trick but last forever.
